My 2024 Wolf Creek 890 slide in truck camper came prewired and with the shark fin adapter attached. Unfortunately, the only way I could get the camera to connect to the 7” monitor was using the cigar lighter in my 2023 GMC 2500HD for both devices at the same time. It didn’t take very much research to find etrailer.com had the answer with the 7-way power adapter. Worked immediately just in time for our first trip pulling the boat with the camper on board.
The adapter worked perfectly for our camera issues. No rewiring needed. A true plug and play. The delivery was fast and on time for our trip.we are extremely happy and thankful.

My RVs trailer brakes will not work with this connected, but it fixed my issues with my Furrion Vision S back up camera losing signal from my RV when hooked up to my 2024 GMC Canyon, but i will not use it, as having working breaks are more important that seeing what is behind me most of the time.

I agree, having brakes is definitely more important than the camera. That adapter shouldn't have caused that to happen, so it's possible there's an issue with it. Do you have access to a different truck that you could use to test the adapter with your trailer to see if the same thing happens? If not, no worries at all. Just let me know when you’re able to check, and we’ll go from there.

While picking up brand new travel trailer, we couldn't get the rear fusion camera to work. It looked like it had power, but camera would come up no signal. I did some research and found that Fusion has a connector that bypasses the electrical power shortage problem. I came to my one and only stop for trailer parts, ETRAILER. This was a simple remedy, it plugs into your 7 point truck harness, then you plug trailer into end of the adapter. This was 100% remedy for the problem. The camera works flawless again.... I have suggested this product to other ChevyGMC owners having issues with the current powering their furrion back up cameras. A year later, this still works flawless.
George and Etrailer were extremely helpful in getting our Furrion camera and accessories to work properly. They diagnosed my problem with power through my hitch and the adapter solved my issue.

Great and no issues
Awesome product and easy to install. The Furrion power adapter is what we needed to buffer the signal from our GMC to operate the Furrion Vision+ backup camera! Can't wait to take a trip for some testing!
I have a 2023 GMC 3500 and bought the furrion camera system. When I plugged it in, I had no signal and diagnosed that the GMC did not put out 12 V to the trailer running lights. I even took this into the GM dealer and they said that’s typical and normal. The furrion adapter plug solved my problems with just three days shipping now it all works.

Tell us what you think??? Hmmmm I think that we shouldn't need an adapter to make our camera's work in the first place!!!!! But, this adapter works as advertised. As soon as I plugged it in, the cameras started working as long as my Fog Lights were on.

Still working great! We wouldnt be able to use our cameras without it.
Tested the adapter out this weekend and found it solved the issue with not beig able to run the Furion camera system we installed on our camper. We have a 2025 Chevrolet 3500 HD pickup. What we found without the adapter was that the blue light would come on, on the camera and it would be found on the screen but no image would present itself. Once installed the image appeared. Note to those having this issue - your lights on the vehicle must also be in the ON position. Thanks
My furrion camera for our camper would not detect a signal and the lack of information provided by furrion just about caused me to return it, however I came across a e-trailer notice regarding the need for a filter, I was skeptical at first but ordered the 7-way and a inline filter, I didn't need the inline because the 7-way adapter fixed the problem. Thank God e-trailer had posted the video. Maybe furrion themselves will start providing this information
Initial package had problems with tracking by ups but Amy handle the problem like a champ and quickly sent out a second cable just in time for my camping trip.
Unforeseen problems happen, it’s how you resolve them quickly that matters.
This is a quality product. etrailer is one of the few American companies that still puts its customers first and offers a huge selection of products. The staff at etrailer is very professional, knowledgable and friendly. I had several questions and the representative got right back to me and answered all my questions. The ordering process my easy and I was kept informed from start to finish.
Connection was a little loose on the trailer side. Fixed the issue with the Furrion camera not working on 2021 GMC Denali. Next trip will tell if the brake disconnect issue was also related to the PWM output of the charging system.

Great, camera won’t work without the adapter.
I used this adapter to connect a 2025 Chevy Colorado to 2026 Rockwood Minilite
2109-S it fixed my camera problem as soon as I plugged it in. I noticed in the comments another user said it caused a problem with the brake controller that did not happen too me. I have zero problems. It works just fine. A big Thanks

I have a 2025 GMC 2500HD, and a brand new Brinkley that came with the Furrion S + camera system, camera would only work intermittently, plugged in this adapter problem solved
Worked great!Instantly connected rear Furrion camera on 37 ft 5th wheel with my 2021 GMC 2500AT4!Thankful didn't have to sync the camera to monitor!Never knew that newer trucks had less than 12volt consistency which is needed to connect . What was also a EXTRA Blessing was that the plug FIXED the ability to charge our solar batteries with our truck now, while traveling! Grateful for this Surprise Gift with affordable cost!

Works as advertised. Was able to use the cameras on my new rv towing with my Chevy. Better yet e-trailer shipped it fast so it arrived right on time for our camping trip.
I forgot when GM decided to change the output in the trucks that the rearview camera didn't work. So after research I found etrailer carried the adapter to operate the rear camera on my 5th wheel. This was a great find through your company.
Thus was the most simple plug and play ever. I only wish the RV dealer that sold me the trailer with the camera set up would have told me I needed this for the camera to work. ( The tech knew I had a newer truck) this made everything

It fit tight in the recetacle. It is well made. The price seemed high, but well worth it.
This is a "MUST HAVE" if you have a General Motors tow vehicle with a Furrion back up camera. This keeps if from dropping off every so often when it doesn;t get enough voltage (how it the problem was explained to me).
